The Annual Sports Meet of the National Seminary of Our Lady
of Lanka 2015 was held on the 15th and 16th of May 2015
at the seminary grounds. Rt. Rev. Dr. Raymond Kingsley Wickramasinghe, the
Bishop of Galle graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. After a great battle
among the three houses, Forbes, Sackett and Cooke, the Forbians became the
champions of the Sports Meet 2015. Throughout the Sports Meet one new record
was kept at the event of High jump by Bro. Praveen Wijesekara who is a
Philosopher. He was awarded as the champion of the Sports Meet 2015 too. This
became a great cause of joy to the Philosophate family. We congratulate him for
his success in sports and wish all the very best for a bright future. The
Annual Sports Meet 2015 brought a great happiness and entertainment to all and
spoke out the grandeur and wonders of unity and true sportsmanship.
